Our unique and interactive Young Leaders programs are a powerful journey of learning and understanding. We work with young people, schools and youth organisations providing an opportunity for participants to learn from our magnificent horse ‘teachers’.

In our programs young people learn from horses in a way that involves them mentally, physically and emotionally, creating immediate change through experiential learning.

How? Our unique approach harnesses the immense power of horses who accept participants without judgment. They respond to energy, intentions, actions and body language. If you are brave enough to really ‘listen’ to their feedback, horses help you become the best version of your unique and wonderful self!

Can Horses Help our Kids?

The value of horses as teachers  as a  tool to learn new skills have been proven time and time again in the teaching of young people.

Young Leaders Programs

Our ‘Young Leaders programs are ideal for young people in leadership roles, demonstrating leadership potential or looking to develop their leadership skills at school, in sports or other extra-curricular activities.

As herd animals, horses intuitively seek clear and authentic leadership in order to feel safe and secure. If students don’t provide this, the horse will! Our programs help participants understand the importance of clear and authentic leadership so they can become the leader the horse seeks. When the horse feels safe, cooperation is a hundred fold and students immediately see the impact of their leadership skills.

By emphasizing self-responsibility and accountability, our interactive Engage & Empower programs provide young people at risk of disengagement with the opportunity to develop self-reliance, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Early intervention provides the best opportunity for young people to be well prepared for lifelong, continued learning.

Horses understand how to differentiate between potentially threatening behaviour and a calm and assertive nature. They role model the positive impact of clear and effective leadership, acceptance, kindness and compassion.
